Monday & Tuesday – In the 16th century, a Polish astronomer changed the way people looked at space by claiming that objects revolved around the Sun, not the Earth. Over the next 150 years others proved him right and came up with their own revolutionary ideas. We will learn about these notable astronomers and how ancient civilizations such as the Greeks, Egyptians, Chinese, and Mesoamericans’ contributed to our current understanding of the universe.

Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday – We will begin our Solar System Poster project. I will provide 1 white poster board.
