Monday – Group Jam on IXL going over scientific inquiry:

1. Ask a question.
2. Do background research.
3. Construct a hypothesis.
4. Test with an experiment.
5. Analyze data and draw conclusions.
6. Communicate results.

Tuesday – Review laboratory equipment and lab safety.

Wednesday & Thursday – Students will begin learning about the metric system and choosing the best metric unit for measuring distance, mass, and volume.

Friday – Students will investigate how solutions to problems are designed and evaluated using engineering practices.
